Welcome to our little store of Rags to Rescue!  We  are proud  to be entering  our  second  year of re-purposing goods  to  sell and support  our  dogs and their cause!  Whether you live in Bakersfield or  are  just passing through be  sure to stop and  visit us. Everything is  donated and all sales and proceeds  help  to run  our  rescue and support  our  program called Hunter's Fund.

    Our little  store  is  nestled in the historic Oleander section of  town. This quaint home  is  four rooms  filled  with things  of the past  and  some contemporary too. Stay as long as you want and be sure to look  high and low.  You  will be  sure to find  something  from yesteryear  that  you just cant live with out!

This  summer  we  added  the original collection of  'Art to the Rescue'.  Each  painting  is  an  original design of  German artist  Gabrielle Miller.  The venue  ranges  from pets to wildlife to modern art.

Gabrielle  has  donated  her talents to fund raise for our  rescue.  She has  donated  100% of  the proceeds  to  our  dogs.  She also  offers  personalized  portraits so if you are looking for a gift  idea  for the person who has  everything this  Christmas  think 'Art to the Rescue'  Your  purchase or personal order  will help to save a life!
